The national government has declared as terrorist organizations - the NUG, CRPH and their subordinate’s so-called PDF terrorist groups, claim to be “for the people”, but are lawlessly killing civil service personnel and innocent citizens, including Buddhist monks and teacher, as well as in engaging in looting, and robbing. Additionally, the terrorists are detonating mines in public places like fun fairs, to sustain fatal injuries. They are also blowing up public-owned buildings that are related and working together with the national government, aiming to disrupt the government mechanism.
Arrested by the report
Since they are committing such acts of violence, security personnel have been beefing up security measures day and night to locate, identify and arrest them. Acting on the secret information report of local people, security force members blocked and searched the area around Pauktaw Village in Thanlyin Township in the afternoon of 19 April. During their search, they arrested Yi Htwe, a member of a terrorist group called Khayan PDF, along with one AK-47 rifle, one Type-056, one Glock-19 pistol, five magazines in different types, 68 rounds of 7.62 mm bullet, 369 rounds of 9 mm bullet and 15 rounds of .380 bullet.
According to the confession of the arrested perpetrator Yi Htwe; it was identified that a leader of the so-called Khayan PDF terrorist group, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and some members evading and basing in Yangon. Security personnel were carrying out security measures to arrest the terrorists, and in the afternoon of 22 April, the terrorist group members, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, Soe Htet Aung (aka) Thalikar and Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay were arrested in room No. (409), 4th floor, Building No. (C) of Muditar Housing in Upper Baho Street, No. (2) Ward, Mayangon Township.
According to the confession of the arrested perpetrator Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay, on the same day in the evening, the terrorist group members, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Mhat Gyi, Aung Myo Lwin (aka) DK (aka) Zaw Gyi Thar and Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay, were arrested in room (A), 4th floor, building No. (36) in Boaungkyaw Street, Botunzan Ward, Dawbon Township.
Seizure of Arms
According to the testimony of Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, on 23 April, security personnel seized two BA-63 rifles, two magazines and 25 rounds of 7.62 bullet hidden in a farm between Magyikon Village of Khayan Township and Saegyikon Village of Thonekhwa Township. Additionally, one pistol of .380, one pistol of Beretta, two M-4 Carbine rifles, one M-22 rifle, one rifle of .30 Carbine, one 40-mm grenade launcher, one homemade .22 gun, 7 rounds of .380 bullet, 8 rounds of 9-mm bullet, 25 rounds of .30, 120 rounds of 5.56 bullet, 200 rounds of 7.62 bullet, 5 rounds of 40-mm bombs, two pistol magazines, two magazines of .30 Carbine (long/short), five magazines of M-4 Carbine, five magazines of M-22 rifle and six homemade grenades were found and seized in a farm between Nyaungbin Village and Alae Village of Khayan Township. On April 24 at night, two M-16 rifles, one M4A1 rifle, one gun of 12 Bore action, one homemade 40-mm grenade launcher, 26 rounds of .380 bullet, 68 rounds of 9-mm bullet, 480 rounds of 5.56 bullet, 196 rounds of 7.62 bullet, 40 rounds of 12 Bore bullet, 19 rounds of 40-mm grenade launcher, one magazine of sniper rifle, one M-22 magazine, three M-16 magazines, two magazines of 12-Bolt action gun and two M4A1 magazines were found and seized in a straw stack located on the west of Kantha Village in Khayan Township.
In the incident, a total of seven perpetrators were arrested along with 18 assorted guns, 30 assorted magazines, 1607 rounds of assorted bullet, 24 projectiles of 40-mm grenade launcher and six grenades.
According to confession of the arrested perpetrators, with the connection of the perpetrator Tun Tun Win (aka) Mee Pwar (still at large), the arrested perpetrator Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Mg attended 14-day long terrorist training together with 13 remaining offenders to be arrested, including Sanay, Aung Thu Lwin, Chan Myae Aung, Sithu, Ko Paing and Byatwi, at the Phalulay base in the area of KNLA Brigade (6) in the last week of March 2021 and he also did another 15-day long terrorist training, opened with 100 trainees, together with 6 remaining offenders to be arrested, Kyaw Zin Win, Sanay, Zaw Gyi, Aung Kyaw Thu, Min Min and Ga Done, at the base near Natgyi Village in the area of KNLA Brigade (5) on May 12.
Attending at So-Called PDF Terrorist Camp
The arrested perpetrator Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay attended 21-day long terrorist training in the area of battalion 3 of KNLA Brigade (1) in May 2022. The arrested perpetrator Aung Myo Lwin (aka) DK (aka) Zaw Gyi Thar attended one-month long terrorist training in December 2021. The arrested perpetrator Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi attended 15-day long terrorist training in February 2022. The arrested perpetrator Soe Htet Aung (aka) Thalikar attended 15-day long terrorist training on 27 April. The perpetrator Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay attended 15-day long terrorist training at the camp of a terrorist group called Khayan PDF near Painnegon Village in the area of KNLA Brigade (1) in June.
According to the testimonies of the arrested offenders, on 15 May 2021, the perpetrator Tun Tun Win (aka) Mee Pwar led and formed a terrorist group so-called Khayan PDF to do acts of violence and kill innocent civilians in Khayan Township. Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung joined the so-called Khayan PDF terrorist group in August 2021, Aung Myo Lwin (aka) DK (aka) Zaw Gyi Thar joined in January 2022, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi in February, Soe Htet Aung (aka) Thalikar in April and Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay and Thant Zin Oo (aka) bikekalay joined in June 2022, respectively.
According to the confessions of the arrested perpetrators, terrorists committed three terrorist killings and 15 shootings in Khayan Township and Thonekhwa Town as per the instruction of Tun Tun Win (aka) Mee Pwar, leader of the terrorist group co-called Khayan PDF.
- Aung Myo Lwin (aka) DK (aka) Zaw Gyi Thar and Dazyuthto (still at large) killed innocent civilian U Myint Soe who lived in Daepauk Village on 10 March 2022, accusing him of being Decoy/Dalan.
- Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi and Aye Min Lat (aka) Moegyo (still at large) killed innocent civilian U Win Naing who lived in Gwaybinchaung Village of Khayan Township on 12 November, accusing him of being Decoy/Dalan.
- Six terrorists, Soe Htet Aung (aka) Thalikar, Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay and remaining offenders to be arrested, Luhla, Shwe Thway, Sanay, Thet Paing Soe (aka) Thet Gyi, killed innocent civilian Myo Zaw Oo who lived in Kanbae area of (1) Ward in Khayan Township on 30 March 2023, accusing him of being Decoy/Dalan.
- On 17 September 2021, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Aye Min Lat (aka) Moegyo and Kywal Gyi, fired small arms at Kayin Kan check point and Township Sport Centre in Khayan Township.
- In December, six terrorists, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Sanay, Thet Paing Soe (aka) Thet Gyi, Kywal Gyi, Toe Tet Aung (aka) Taryar, Jackson (aka) Tun Lin Thaw, fired 40 mm homemade grenade launcher at the police station in Pane Kan Village of Khayan Township.
- In the second week of January 2022, led by Sanay (still at large), including Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Ko Hane, Jackson (aka) Tun Lin Thaw, Nagarlay, Kywal Gyi, Moe Zat, Sit Paing, Ganan, Thargyi, Toe Tat Aung (aka) Taryar, Thet Paing Soe (aka) Thet Gyi, fired small arms at the police station in Phaya Pyo Village.
- On 28 February, 12 terrorists, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Jackson (aka) Tun Lin Thaw, Aung Zay, Thet Paing Soe (aka) Thet Gyi, fired M-79 grenade launcher at the police station in Pane Kan Village for the second time and on the same day, remaining offenders to be arrested, Ye Naing, Nagalar, Ganan, Moe Zat, Aye Min Lat (aka) Moegyo and Toe Tat Aung (aka) Taryar, launched mine attack on the security convey which left for security operation.
- In the second week of March, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Htet Wai Yan and Jackson (aka) Tun Lin Thaw, fired M-79 grenade launcher at the police station in Phaya Pyo Village for the second time.
- In the last week of March, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Htet Wai Yan, Jackson (aka) Tun Lin Thaw and Aung Zay, fired M-79 grenade launcher at the Thonegwa Myoma police station.
- In the first week of April, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and remaining offenders to be arrested, Jackson (aka) Tun Lin Thaw, Aung Zay and Ko Tu, fired M-79 grenade launcher at the police station in Pane Kan Village for the third time.
- In the second week of April, 20 terrorists, including Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi, Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay and remaining offenders to be arrested, Sanay, Ko Htoo, Ko Hane, Thaw Tar Gyi, Tutpi, Ko Min, Nagar, fired small arms at Zwe Ton check point in Khayan Township.
- On 7 October, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi and remaining offenders to be arrested, Mhone Tine, Than Khe and Dazyut Hto, fired 40 mm grenade launcher at the security post in front of the Forestry office in Khayan Township.
- In November, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi, Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay and remaining offenders to be arrested, Aung Zay and Thargyi, fired 40 mm grenade launcher at the general administration department office, the Myoma police station and the Forestry office in Khayan Township.
- In the last week of November, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi, Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay and Mhone Tine (still at large) fired 40 mm grenade launcher at the police station in the Gatonepaw Village of Thonegwa Township.
- On 8 January 2023, 20 terrorists, including Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi, Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay and remaining offenders to be arrested, Sanay, Thet Paing Soe (aka) Thet Gyi, Aye Min Lat (aka) Moegyo and Mhone Tine, fired small arms at the police station in the Gatonepaw Village of Thonegwa Township.
- In the first week of April, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung and Tutpi (still at large) fired M-79 grenade launcher at check point in Kayin Kan Village and police station in Pane Kan Village, Khayan Township.
- On 14 April, eight terrorists, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, Kyaw Min Htet (aka) Sarkalay, Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi, Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay, Soe Htet Aung (aka) Thalikar and remaining offenders to be arrested, Mhone Tine, Superman, Aye Min Lat (aka) Moegyo, fired small arms at the police post in front of Township Immigration and Population office in Khayan Township.
Financial Assistance to Assassinate
The perpetrator Tun Tun Win (aka) Mee Pwar (still at large), leader of the so-called Khayan PDF terrorist group, provided four terrorists, Htet Ye Lin (aka) Aye Maung, Aung Myo Lwin (aka) DK (aka) Zaw Gyi Thar, Thant Zin Oo (aka) Bikekalay and Moe Pyae Sone Kyaw (aka) Daewa (aka) Hmat Gyi, 100,000 MMK monthly to do acts of violence. If they accomplished their killings and acts of violence, Tun Tun Win (aka) Mee Pwar provided from additional 200,000 MMK to 300,000 MMK, according to their confessions.
Measures will be taken to take Harsh Legal Actions
It is reported that measures will be taken to take harsh legal actions against the arrested offenders. The entire public is encouraged to protect and fight against those engaged in terrorist activities, and is also encouraged to report any information about the terrorists’ whereabouts and movements to relevant authorities in confidence, in order to arrest the related offender as soonest. The whistleblowers and those who are arrested are being given a deserved and confidential reward, and that the entire public is requested to work together to restore peace and stability to the towns and Villages as soon as possible.
