The national government has declared as terrorist organizations - the NUG, CRPH and their subordinate’s so-called PDF groups, claim to be “for the people”, but are lawlessly killing civil service personnel and innocent citizens, including Buddhist monks and teacher, as well as in engaging in looting, robbing and extorting money from them. Additionally, the terrorists are detonating mines in public places like fun fairs, to sustain fatal injuries. The security force members exerted efforts round the clock to arrest the perpetrators of terror acts and murders of innocent civilians. In this regard, according to the information secretly tip-offed by conscientious people who oppose terrorism and disruptive acts of State peace, security personnel managed to arrest offender Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi, second leader of so-called Royal Phoenix Guerilla Force –RPGF terrorist group at room no. (205) of ‘Taw Win Oo’ guesthouse in Kanthayar ward of Chanmyathazi township of Mandalay region on the afternoon of 6 April 2023.
According to the confession of the arrested offender Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi, other related offenders, Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, the leader of so-called RPGF terrorist group on the morning of 18 May between 46th and 107(A) Streets of Aungthayar Ward in Chanmyathazi Township and other RPGF members of Zaw Htet and Hein Htet, and other related offenders of Zaw Ye Htet (aka) Thar Thar, Aung Tun Min (aka) Auto and Min Min Oo (aka) Thet Oo Maung were arrested on the same day in Mhantan Ward, Amarapura Township.
According to the confession of the arrested offender Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, other related offender Win Mar was arrested along with five pull-string grenades in 73(A) street between 120th and 121st Streets of Ngwetawkyikone Ward, Pyigyidagun Township on the same day’s afternoon, and offender Thura Soe (aka) Kyauk Yoke was further arrested in Latkaung Village of Patheingyi Township.
According to the confession of the arrested offender Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae and Aung Tun Min (aka) Auto, other related offenders who are providing financial assistance to the so-called RPGF terrorist group; Khaing Khaing Aung in Thaginchaung Street of Daewon (West) Ward of Chanayetharzan Township, Yan Naung Phyo at the room no. 19, building no. 19, Myayinandar Ward, Chanmyathazi Township, Thu Zar Wai and Aung Ye Kyaw in Thinpankone Ward of Pyigyidagun Township, were further arrested on the evening of 18 May.
In the incidents, 13 offenders in total including 10 males and 3 females were arrested together with five Chinese-made pull-string grenades.
According to the confession of the arrested offender – Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi, Min Min Oo (aka) Thet Oo Maung, Zaw Htet and Zaw Ye Htet (aka) Thar Thar attended explosive training course at KIA Brigade no. (4) in Namatu township of Shan state (north) for a month in March 2022.
Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi, Min Min Oo (aka) Thet Oo Maung, Zaw Htet and Zaw Ye Htet (aka) Thar Thar moved back to Mandalay and the offender Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi joined the ZOOM meeting led by absconder Ye Mon from CRPH/NUG. Then, under the instruction of the absconder Ye Mon, in April 2022, the offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae and Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi led and organized a terrorist group so-called Royal Phoenix Guerilla Force –RPGF with 16 members in total including Zaw Htet, Hein Htet, Zaw Ye Htet (aka) Thar Thar, Aung Tun Min (aka) Auto, Min Min Oo (aka) Thet Oo Maung, Thura Soe (aka) Kyauk Yoke, and other offenders to be arrested: Hein Myat Min (aka) Phoethar, David, Gaunggyi, Belu, Pauk Kyaw (aka) Scope, Kyaw Gyi (aka) Ashay Gyi, Tun Tun (aka) Jin Mhway and Mae Gyi in April 2022. The group was organized with the aims of carrying out acts of terrorism and killing innocent civilians under accusation of being decoy/Dalan in Mandalay city and Sagaing township.
According to the confessions of the arrested offenders, absconder Ye Mon from CRPH/NUG delivered two pistols and 50 rounds of its bullet to offender Pauk Kyaw (aka) Scope in February 2023. Moreover, in order to purchase explosives, Yan Naung Phyo contributed K500,000, Aung Ye Kyaw K1,000,000 Khaing Khaing Aung K1,000,000 and Thuzar Wai K2,000,000 and other food items respectively to the RPGF terrorist group.
According to the instructions of so-called RPFG leader Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, the group committed two assassinations of innocent civilians under the accusation of being decoy/dalan as follows –
• Arrested offenders Zaw Htet, Zaw Ye Htet (aka) Thar Thar, Aung Tun Min (aka) Auto and other offenders to be arrested Pauk Kyaw (aka) Scope, Hein Myat Min (aka) Phoe Thae and David shot pistol at innocent civilian U Kyaw Soe to death by accusing him of being decoy/dalan at the “Hnin Shwe Yi” teashop in Ywarhtaung Ward of Sagaing Town on 20 April 2023.
• Offenders Zaw Htet, Zaw Ye Htet (aka) Thar Thar, Aung Tun Min (aka) Auto and other offenders to be arrested Pauk Kyaw (aka) Scope and Tun Tun (aka) Jin Mhway led by Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae assassinated an innocent civilian U San Yu Maung, son of U Maung Gyi, Latkaung Village administrator in Patheingyi township and who was not present at house at that time, by firing rounds of pistols at him on 27 April 2023. During the incident, offender Thura Soe (aka) Kyauk Yoke performed as an observer.
According to the confession of the arrested offenders, so-called RPGF terrorist group committed nine remote-mine and IED attacks in Mandalay city and Sagaing township –
• On 16 April 2022, arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi and Pauk Kyaw (aka) Scope (to be arrested) threw an IED in front of “Space Bar” restaurant located in 62nd road between 36th and 37th roads of Maharaungmyay township and the explosion injured an innocent civilian.
• Arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukkyi and offender Mae Gyi (to be arrested) threw an IED in front of region high court in Chanmyathazi township on 22 May.
• Arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi and offender Mae Gyi (to be arrested) threw an IED in front of ‘Jin Cheng’ hotel in Maharnwesin Ward of Maharaungmyay Township on 29 May.
• On 10 January 2023, arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi and Pauk Kyaw (aka) Scope (to be arrested) blew up an IED in front of Pahtodawgyi pagoda located in Hmantan ward of Amarapura township.
• On 10 February 2023, arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi and Kyaw Gyi (aka) Ashay Gyi (to be arrested) blew up an IED targeting at the security-outpost located on the east of Mandalarthiri Stadium in Myothit (1) Ward of Chanmyathazi Township, injuring one security personnel and two innocent civilians.
• On 17 February 2023, arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae and Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi blew up an IED targeting the Ward administrator office of Pyigyimyatshin Ward in Chanayethazan Township.
• On 21 February, arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi and Kyaw Gyi (aka) Ashay Gyi (to be arrested) blew up an IED targeting the Ward administrator office of Maharnwesin Ward in Maharaungmyay Township.
• On 22 March 2023, arrested offenders Saw Ba Nyein (aka) Pyi Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Saw (aka) Ko Pyae, Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi and Kyaw Gyi (aka) Ashay Gyi (to be arrested) blew up an IED targeting the district court killing one security personnel and injuring one another.
• On 11 April 2023, arrested offenders Chan Myae Oo (aka) Breakie (aka) Kaukgyi, Zaw Htet (aka) Thar Thar, Aung Tun Min (aka) Auto and Kyaw Gyi (aka) Ashay Gyi and Hein Myat Min (aka) Phoe Thar (to be arrested) blew up an IED targeting the electricity power substation in Padamyar Ward of Sagaing Town.
The so-called RPGF terrorist group had planned to assassinate an innocent civilian who lives in government housing of the Ministry Construction located in 15th and 66th Streets of Chanayetharzan Township, an innocent civilian who lives in Anaut Ward of Chanayetharzan Township, and to carry out IED attacks on traffic police office at the corner of 78th and 32nd Streets in Chanayetharzan township in June 2023. However, security forces managed to find out their ill attempts and prevent them by using the information advantages.
It is reported that measures will be taken to take harsh legal actions against the arrested offenders. The entire public is encouraged to report any information about fugitives to relevant authorities in confidence, in order to arrest the related offender as soonest.
