Six innocent civilians were injured in a wanton attack with heavy weapon carried out by KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists onto a residential Village where civilians reside in Mabane Township

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 November at 11:00 AM, a KIA armed insurgent group and a so-called PDF terrorists attacked with heavy weapons onto Moline Village of Mabane Township Northern Shan State. The heavy weapon shells landed and exploded in the upland field located three furlongs south of Moline Village. As a result of the explosions, U Han Win Tun (aka) Pu Cho (31 years old), Mg Thiha Naung (11 years old), Daw Tin Htay Yi (43 years old), Ko Shin Thant Naung (24 years old), Ko Khun Khant Naung (15 years old), who all live in Nantponepone Ward of Mabame Town as well as Daw Khum Tun (77 years old), who lives in Moline Village, sustained injuries from heavy weapon shrapnel while they were working in the upland field at that time. They were transported to the Bhamo District Public Hospital in Kachin State, for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with heavy weaponry onto the Village where civilians reside, causing innocent civilians to sustain injuries, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
