Terrorist organizations are carrying out acts of sabotage within the country, as well as launching heavy weapons and dropping bombs using drone attacks, targeting and destroying religious buildings and monasteries that are sacred to Buddhist Myanmar people, while also abducting and brutally killing the Buddhist monks, it is found that heartbreakingly.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 September at 11:30 PM, Abbot U Kumarya (73 years old and 53 years as a monk), who lived in Ywar-U monastery in Kaimagyi Village , Yesagyo Township, Magway Region, was present in the monastery, when a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) arrived from Htanpinchaung Village and arrested the abbot. Later, when they arrived near a public rest-house located approximately two furlongs southeast of the village, the terrorists brutally killed the abbot. As a result, Abbot U Kumarya was dead from a severe lacerating injury on his neck and swelling injuries on his lip, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the above incident to take punitive action against terrorists who brutally killed abbot U Kumarya that are sacred to the Buddhist Myanmar people, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
