So-called PDF terrorists blew up the No. (1/7) reinforced concrete Bridge in Wetlet Township

      Roads/bridges are being constructed as basic infrastructure for the development of socio-economic life in the region and to facilitate convenient and swift transportation for the people. Armed insurgents who support terrorism and the so-called PDF terrorists, who oppose peace and development in the country, have been carrying out reckless acts by blowing up and destroying roads/ bridges with homemade mines and homemade bombs.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 June at 10:10 AM, so-called PDF terrorists detonated the No. (1/7) reinforced concrete Bridge located between mileposts 6/2 and 6/3 on the Wetlet-Ywarthargyi Village Road in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region. The explosion caused damage of approximately 4 feet x 1 foot in the middle of the bridge, along with cracks spanning approximately 20 feet on the top two sides of the bridge. Additionally, five concrete pillars on the Road, positioned to the right side of the bridge, were broken, it is reported.
      Responsible officials are now repairing the damaged bridge so that it can be used by the public soon, and security force members are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorists who blew up the public bridge as soonest in accordance with the law, it is reported.
