So-called PDF terrorists conduct disruptive acts against education sector development in Lounglon Township to create uneducated classes in the society

    With the aims to create an uneducated society following the loss of children’s rights to education as well as to support them by making people very frightened, the so-called CRPH, NUG and their subordinates PDF terrorist Groups, which the Government has declared as terrorist organizations, are conducting various kinds of destructive activities across the country such as intimidation and coercion against students, teachers and parents; abductions and killings of students, teachers and parents; arson and bombing attacks on schools. In addition to the acts aforesaid, so-called PDF terrorists, with destructive emotions, are making acts of vandalism against the government’s efforts on education sector development such as putting textbooks and teaching/learning aids to the torch; and taking those forcibly.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 9 July at 12:00 PM, Daw San San Lae, 35 years old (Father) U Tun Thin, a primary assistant teacher from the Basic Education Primary School (Thayaltwin), who lives in Thabyar Village of Lounglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, was present in her house along with her husband U Hla Min, 37 years old (Father) U Hnin Hla, and her cousin U Thein Zaw, 55 years old (Father) U Aung Pwint, when 15 members of a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived on motorcycles and physically assaulted them. As a result, all of them sustained injuries, it is reported.
   Security personnel are doing required investigations to find and apprehend those terrorists involved in the aforementioned threats and to take legal action against them. The public was urged to oppose the so-called NUG and PDF terrorist groups who committed nefarious acts and participate in protecting security for the future of children by providing the information about terrorists’ movements to concerned administration bodies, it is reported.
