So-called PDF terrorists conduct disruptive acts against education sector development in Monywa Township to create uneducated classes in the society

    With the aims to create an uneducated society following the loss of children’s rights to education as well as to support them by making people very frightened, the so-called NUG, CRPH, and their subordinates PDF terrorist Groups, which the Government has declared as terrorist organizations, are conducting various kinds of destructive activities across the country such as intimidation and coercion against students, teachers and parents; abductions and killings of students, teachers and parents; arson and bombing attacks on schools. In addition to the acts aforesaid, so-called PDF terrorists, with destructive emotions, are making acts of vandalism against the government’s efforts on education sector development such as putting textbooks and teaching/learning aids to the torch; and taking those forcibly.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 4 July at 03:30 PM, a teacher Daw Yi Yi Hlaing, 59 years old (Father) U Tin Hlaing, who lives in Aungchanthar Ward of Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, was returning home in a SGG-4N/xxxx Insight vehicle from a Basic Education Sub-High School in the Obo (south) area. When she reached in front of her house, three so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a mortocycle. The terrorists threated her and shot her younger brother U Kyaw Swar Hlaing, 40 years old (Father) U Tin Hlaing. Additionally, they also robbed a motor vehicle, two gold chains, a gold ring, a gold bracelet and a MDY 76W/xxxx Click motorcycle. As a result, U Kyaw Swar Hlaing sustained injuries from gunfire and was transported to the Monywa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    Security personnel are doing required investigations to find and apprehend those terrorists involved in the aforementioned threats and to take legal action against them. The public was urged to oppose the so-called NUG and PDF terrorist groups who committed nefarious acts and participate in protecting security for the future of children by providing the information about terrorists’ movements to concerned administration bodies, it is reported.
