With the aims to create an uneducated society following the loss of children’s rights to education as well as to support them by making people very frightened, the so-called CRPH, NUG and their subordinates PDF terrorist Groups, which the Government has declared as terrorist organizations, are conducting various kinds of destructive activities across the country such as intimidation and coercion against students, teachers and parents; abductions and killings of students, teachers and parents; arson and bombing attacks on schools. In addition to the acts aforesaid, so-called PDF terrorists, with destructive emotions, are making acts of vandalism against the government’s efforts on education sector development such as putting textbooks and teaching/learning aids to the torch; and taking those forcibly.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 12 July at 12:15 PM, so-called PDF from Myaing Township of Magway Region, dropped two bombs using a drone on the No (2) Basic Education High School in No (2) Ward of Myaing Town. Currently, 38 teachers are providing education for 284 students in this school. The bombs landed and exploded on the Main school building, causing damage to 15 zinc roofs, 11 ceilings, four outriggers and a rafter of the Building. Approximately MMK 9 lakhs were lost in the explosion. Fortunately, there were no injuries to teachers and students, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:30 PM, a fitness teacher from the Basic Education Middle school (Yaytwingyi) U Khine Maung Lat, 54 years old (Father) U Kyaw Myint Win, who lived in Yaytwingyi Village of Nyaungshwe Township in southern Shan State, was present in his house along with his wife Daw Nan Hone, 37 years old (Father) U Than, when a so-called PDF terrorist (under scrutiny) arrived and attacked them. The terrorist slashed them with a knife and beat them with stones. As a result, U Khin Maung Lat and Daw Nan Hone were dead from cuts, scratches and swelling injuries on their heads and faces, it is reported.
Security personnel are doing required investigations to find and apprehend those terrorists involved in the aforementioned threats and to take legal action against them. The public was urged to oppose the so-called CRPH၊ NUG and PDF terrorist groups who committed nefarious acts and participate in protecting security for the future of children by providing the information about terrorists’ movements to concerned administration bodies, it is reported.
