With the aims to create an uneducated society following the loss of children’s rights to education as well as to support them by making people very frightened, the so-called CRPH, NUG, and their subordinates PDF terrorist Groups, which the Government has declared as terrorist organizations, are conducting various kinds of destructive activities across the country such as intimidation and coercion against students, teachers and parents; abductions and killings of students, teachers and parents; arson and bombing attacks on schools. In addition to the acts aforesaid, so-called PDF terrorists, with destructive emotions, are making acts of vandalism against the government’s efforts on education sector development such as putting textbooks and teaching/learning aids to the torch; and taking those forcibly.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 6 August at 09:40 AM, two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle at the Basic Education Primary School (Myaingthar) in Myaingthar Village of Natogyi Township in Mandalay Region, and apprehended a primary assistant teacher Daw Nan Hla Win, 50 years old (Father) U Saut, who was teaching the students within the school compound at the time of the terrorists arrival. Upon their arrival outside of the school, the terrorists shot and killed Daw Nan Hla Win. As a result, Daw Nan Hla Win was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are doing required investigations to find and apprehend those terrorists involved in the aforementioned threats and to take legal action against them in accordance with the law, it is reported.
