So-called PDF terrorists entered a Village in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, and wantonly burned it down, causing extensive destruction to a house, nine Other buildings and a chicken farm.
The incident happened that, on 9 May at 07:50 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) entered Aungchanthar Village in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region and wantonly burned down residential houses before fleeing. Security personnel and fire services personnel, along with a fire-fighting vehicle and a water-carrier vehicle, worked together to extinguish the fire, which was put out after approximately 50 minutes. As a result, a two-story RC building belonging to U Win Oo (under scrutiny), nine buildings built with zinc roofing and bamboo matting walls, an empty chicken farm built with bamboo matting roofing and rainproof sheet walls, a cattle fodder hut and 12 pigs were destroyed in the fire, it is reported.
Security forces are taking necessary measures to take effective action against the terrorists who entered a Village where innocent civilians reside and wantonly burned down residential houses, in accordance with the law and security measures to ensure peace and stability in the area, it is reported.
