So-called PDF terrorists entered a Village in Kalewa Township, Sagaing Region, opened fire small arms and wantonly burned it down, causing injuries to two innocent civilians and extensive destruction four houses.
The incident happened that, on 12 May at 03:30 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) entered Shaninn Village in Kalewa Township, Sagaing Region, opened fire small arms and wantonly burned down residential houses before fleeing. As a result of the fire, four houses, including the house of U San Win, 52 years old, (Father) U Yay Mhway, were destroyed. Additionally, Ko Nanda, 32 years old, (Father) U Than Cho, and Ko Min Htet Naing, 21 years old, (Father) U San Min, sustained gunfire injuries and were transported to the Kalewa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security forces are taking necessary measures to take effective action against the terrorists who entered a Village where innocent civilians reside, opened fire small arms and wantonly burned down residential houses, in accordance with the law and security measures to ensure peace and stability in the area, it is reported.
