On 11 August at 09:00 PM, so-called PDF terrorists entered Minywar Village in Natogyi Township of Mandalay Region and wantonly killed four innocent villagers as well as set fire to the Basic Education High School in the Village, it is reported.
The incident happened that on 11 August at 09:00 PM, so-called PDF terrorists entered Minywar Village in Kyaungnan Village group of Natogyi Township, and wantonly killed four innocent villagers as well as set fire to the Basic Education High School in the Village. The security personnel received this information on 12 August at 06:00 AM and were dispatched to the Village to conduct an investigation. Upon investigation, it is found that U Ohn Phay, 62 years old, his wife Daw Moe, 67 years old, U Ye Myint, 67 years old and his wife Daw Aye Khine, 54 years old were found dead with gunshot injuries in their respective houses. Additionally, a school building, built with zinc roofing and bamboo wall matting, and another school building, built with zinc roofing and brick walls, were set fire by the terrorists, resulting in damages to the window glasses (monetary value – under scrutiny) of the two school buildings were damaged by fire, it is reported.
The security personnel used a social assistance vehicle to transport the deceased individuals to the Natogyi Township Public Hospital. They are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the terrorists who wantonly killed innocent villagers and set fire to the school, and are now continuing counter terrorism measures in accordance with security protocols to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
