      So-called PDF terrorists recklessly opened fire with small arms on a passenger vehicle in Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, resulting in injuries to two innocent civilians and damage to the vehicle.
      The incident happened that, on 17 June at 01:20 PM, a 5N/XXXX motor vehicle from “Shwesin Setkyar” Express driven by U Myo Si Thu, 40 years old, accompanied by vehicle helper Ko Kyaw Thu Win, 20 years old (Father) U Tun Myint, and carrying 32 passengers, was en route from Kawthaung Town to Yangon City. When they reached near Kadal Village of Palaw Township, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) attacked with small arms on the vehicle. As a result, the front windshield, two right window glasses, a left window glass and the right side of the vehicle body were damaged by gunfire. Additionally, the vehicle helper Ko Kyaw Thu Win and one of the passengers Daw Su Su, 44 years old (Father) U Nyi Nyi, who lives in Nganchaung Village of Ngayotekaung Township, sustained gunfire injuries, and were transported to the Palaw Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Security force members are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorists, who recklessly attacked a passenger vehicle using small arms, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
