Some innocent civilians were injured due to the reckless firing of heavy weapons and the dropping of bombs using a drone carried out by so-called PDF terrorists in some Townships

     In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 July at 08:30 PM, so-called PDF terrorists opened fire with heavy weapons towards Wamkone Village in Loikaw Township of Kayah State. The heavy weapon shells landed and exploded within the Village. As a result of the explosions, U Huu, 86 years old (Father) U Moe, and his daughter Ma Cherry, 36 years old, and Daw Ngwe, 68 years old (Father) U La Su, who all live in this Village, sustained injuries from shell shrapnel. They were transported to the Saosanhtun Hospital in Taunggyi Township for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 26 July at 07:30 PM, so-called PDF terrorists launched an attack by dropping bombs using a drone on Yargyipyin Village of Pauk Township in Magway Region. The bombs landed and detonated within the Village. As a result of the explosions, Ma Thu Thu Myint (9 years old), Ma Kantkaw Phyo (9 years old), Ma Thazin Phyo (6 years old), Ma Zin Zin Oo (30 years old), Daw Tin Htway (60 years old), Daw Soe Soe Myint (42 years old) and Daw Kyin Than (55 years old), who all live in this Village, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel. They all were transported to the Pauk Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire heavy weapons and dropped bombs using a drone towards Villages, resulting in injuries to inncent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
