Some innocent civilians were injured in a heavy weapons attack carried out by so-called PDF terrorists group Yaelal Village in Bhamo Township

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 September at 12:20 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) attacked with heavy weapons towards Yaelal Village in Bhamo Township, Kachin State. During the attack, a heavy weapon shell landed and exploded near the Village. As a result of the explosion, U Pale (52 years old) along with his wife Daw Kyi Htway (50 years old) and his nephew Mg Khant Lin Htet (17 years old), who all live in this Village, sustained injuries from heavy weapon shell shrapnel. They were transported to the Bhamo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with heavy weapon, aiming to injure innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
