Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 July at 09:00 AM, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) opened fire with heavy weapons towards Banlaung Village of Phyu Township, Bago Region. A projectile from the heavy weapons landed and exploded on the house of U San Thein, 70 years old (Father) U Kalar, who lives in this Village, causing U San Thein, U Win Soe, 54 years old (Father) U Chit Khway, Daw Nwae Nwae Htay 48 years old (Father) U Tun Kyi and Mg Min Soe Khant ,18 years old and (Father) U Win Soe, who were all inside the house having a meal, to sustain injuries from bomb shrapnel. They all were transported to the Phyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:30 AM, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) opened fire with heavy weapons towards Kyauksaung Village of Phyu Township. A projectile from the heavy weapons landed and exploded in the house yard of U Min Khine Oo, 41 years old (Father) U Myint Aung, who lives in this Village, causing U Min Khine Oo, who was present in the yard at the time, to sustain injuries from bomb shrapnel. He was transported to the Phyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 08:00 PM, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) launched an attack with heavy weapons towards Ayethukha Village in Myawady Township of Kayin State. A projectile from the heavy weapons landed and exploded near the home-based shop of U Kyi Myint, 54 years old (Father) U Thaung Shwe, who lives in this Village. As a result of the explosion, U Myo Lin Aung, 36 years old (Father) U Mya Aung, who was shopping at the shop, was dead from bomb shrapnel injuries, while U Kyi Myint sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel. He was transported to the Myawady Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire heavy weapons towards Villages, which are non-military targets and where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
