Terrorists carried out inhuman acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 December at 10:00 AM, a report stated that a male injured by mine shrapnel had been brought to Zayetgyi Circuit Hospital in Htantapin Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Lin (28 years old), who lives in Bommatee Village of Htantapan Township, had his right ankle severed and sustained injuries from mine shrapnel to his left calf and chest. The incident was verified that Ko Lin and four other individuals from the same village were cutting bamboos on Phoe Chit Maung mountain (Locally name). Unfortunately, Ko Lin stepped on a landmine planted by terrorists, resulting in the explosion and the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
