Terrorists carried out inhuman acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 December at 07:00 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Myaeni Village of Mingin Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Aung Kyaw Thaung (39 years old), who lives in Myoma Village of Mingin Township, was herding cows in a field located approximately 100 meters northwest of Myaeni Village, when an improvised mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded. As a result, U Aung Kyaw Thaung sustained an injury from mine shrapnel and was transported to a Military Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 09:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Paykone (South) Village of Kambalu Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Mya Han (70 years old) and her daughter, Daw Kay Thi Myint (45 years old), who both live in this village, were working in a field located approximately one mile north of the village when an improvised mine, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, they sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and were transported to Kambalu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 03:00 PM, Mg Lum Khan (14 years old), who lives in Madain Village of Waingmaw Township, Kachin State, was herding cows near Kawar creek (Locally name), close to Madain Village. While doing so, he inadvertently stepped on a landmine planted by a terrorist group (under investigation), which exploded. As a result, Mg Lum Khan sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to Waingmaw Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
