Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civillians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 November 2024 at 10:40 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had arrived at the Kyaukgyi Township Public Hospital of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Kyi Aye (70 years old), a resident of Dhoneto Village in Kyaukgyi Township, had accidentally stepped on an explosive device. The incident occurred while he was cutting bamboo in a forest approximately one furlong west of the Kyun-U Monastery in the village. The device was reportedly planted by a group of KNU members who support terrorism, in collaboration with so-called PDF terrorists, leading to the explosion and causing his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law
