In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 July, 2024 at 9:20 AM, security personnel received a report of an explosion near Indaw (Taung Su) Village, Pauk Township, Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Zin Ko Oo (36 years old), Ma Sein Sein Oo (23 years old), Mg Pyae Sone Kyaw (23 years old), U Nyein Chan Aung (32 years old) and Mg Pyae Phyo Khine (18 years old), all residents of Aungtagun Ward in Pauk Township, were travelling on two sidecar motorcycles from Pauk Town to Yar Gyi Pyin Village along the Pauk-Pakokku Road. Upon arrival near Indaw (Taung Su) Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the roadside. As a result, U Zin Ko Oo, U Nyein Chan Aung and Ma Sein Sein Oo sustained injuries from the shrapnel and were transported to Pauk Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
