Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     With the intent to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extremist terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 May, 2024 at 6:15 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Pan Yan Village, Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that while U Kyaw Moe (48 years old), a resident of the village, was heading to a farm near the village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded on the roadside. As a result, U Kyaw Moe sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Shwebo District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:50 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries arrived at Phyu Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Min Zaw Oo (aka) U Min Min (46 years old), who lives in Yae Pyar Village, Phyu Township. He was heading to a farm near the village, when he arrived at the village exit, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, he sustained injuries from shrapnel, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are taking measures to identify the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above-mentioned incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
