In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices, and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 January at 11:15 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in front of the Township General Administrator’s Office on Bagaya Road in Sanchaung (north) Ward of Sanchaung Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an improvised mine, planted by terrorists, had exploded near the office’s entrance door. As a result of the explosion, there were no injuries or damage to people or buildings, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:00 PM, a report stated that two males with injuries from a mine explosion had been admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Myaing Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Soe Hteik (39 years old), who lives in No. (1) Ward of Myaing Township, sustained injuries mine shrapnel to his left thigh. Additionally, U Thein Naing (aka) Aung Soe (47 years old), who also lives in No. (1) Ward of Myaing Township, sustained injuries mine shrapnel to his right thigh. The incident was verified that on the same day around 01:50 PM when they were en route to their fields near Kyaungkan Village for work. While travelling along the Myaing-Kyaungkan dirt road, an improvised mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists exploded, resulting in the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.

The injuries sustained by U Soe Hteik and U Thein Naing (aka) Aung Soe resulted from
an explosion caused by an improvised mine planted by so-called PDF terrorists on the
Myaing-Kyaungkan Village road in Myaing Township.
