With the intent to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extremist terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 June, 2024 at 4:45 PM security personnel received a report stating that a woman with shrapnel injuries arrived at the Township Public Hospital in Moe Kaung Township, Kachin State. When the security personnel arrived there for further investigation, they discovered that Daw Ma Myint (35 years old) a resident of Kanyin Myaing village in Moe Kaung Township accidentally stepped on a mine planted by KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists around two miles to the northwest of the village when she left home to pick up flowers.
It is reported that the security personnel are taking measures to identify the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the incident as mentioned above to take effective action against them under the law.
