In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 June 2024, at 7:30 AM, security personnel received a report of two men were injured by an explosion near Kan Village in Pwint Phyu Township, Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Aung Min Soe (43 years old) and U Khin Maung Cho (38 years old), who both live in Lal Ma Village, Pwint Phyu Township, were travelling by motorcycle from Lal Ma Village to Kan Village. When they arrived near Kan Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the roadside. As a result, they sustained injuries from shrapnel and were transported to Mal Za Li Circuit Hospital in Pwint Phyu Township for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 2:30 PM, security personnel received a report of an explosion near Nan Kaw Village in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Moe Moe Aung (aka) Aye Ko (53 years old), a resident of the village. He was returning home from a charcoal-making place located in a jungle east of the village, carrying charcoal with two horses. When he arrived near a tea plantation farm on the outskirts of the village, an explosive device planted by a terrorist group exploded. As a result, two horses died, and U Moe Moe Aung (aka) Aye Ko sustained injuries from shrapnel. He was subsequently transported to Mogok Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
