Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

    In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 September, 2024 at 9:40 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Ngwe Twin Village, Ayartaw Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Nga Maung (45 years old) and Ko Kyaw Zin Tun (25 years old), both residents of the village, were cleaning grass along the boundary of a dam approximately 1000 meters east of the village, they had accidentally triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, causing it to exploded. As a result, U Nga Maung died on the spot, while Ko Kyaw Zin Tun sustained shrapnel wounds. He is currently receiving first aid treatment from security personnel, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
