Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 21 July, 2024 at 10:30 AM, security personnel received a report of an explosion near Lwal Sin Village in Yatsauk Township of Southern Shan State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Bo Tun (50 years old), Ma Shwe Khine (17 years old), Ma Thin Zar Wint Kyaw (17 years old), Ma Ywun Wadi Moe (16 years old) and Ma Htway Htway Win (18 years old), all residents of the village, were heading to U Bo Tun’s farm in a six-wheeled FAW vehicle. When they arrived near the farm, six explosive devices planted by a terrorist group exploded on the roadside. As a result, they sustained injuries from shrapnel and were transported to a local military Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:20 AM, security personnel received a report of an explosion near Taung Ywar Ma Village in Seikphyu Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Daw Thin Thin Aye (45 years old), a resident of Kone Gyi Village in Chauk Township, was travelling on her motorcycle from her village to Taung Ywar Ma Village. When she arrived near Taung Ywar Ma Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the roadside. As a result, she is currently receiving medical treatment at Seikphyu Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 10:20 PM, security personnel received a report of an explosion at the “BLACK HOUSE” beer pub located in No. (4) Ward, Lathar Township of Yangon Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted by a terrorist group. As a result, Ko Khun Aung (24 years old) and Ko Khaung Daung (24 years old), both residents of Sa Yar San North (East) Ward in Bahan Township and Ko Arkar Htet Naing (23 years old), a resident of Kan Taw Lay (South) Ward in Mingalartaungnyunt Township, who were in the pub at the time, sustained injuries from the shrapnel. They are currently receiving medical treatment at Yangon Public Hospital, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
