Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices, and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 January at 6:20 PM, a report stated that a male, injured in a mine explosion, had been admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U San Mu (51 years old), who lives in Phulon Village of Yaesagyo Township, Magway Region, had sustained injuries to his forehead and right hand from mine shrapnel. The incident was verified that on 9 January around 03:20 PM, U San Mu was cycling alone from his home to Tamartan bazaar located west of the village, for shopping. When he arrived near the bazaar an improvised mine, planted by so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. As a result, U San Mu sustained the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the offenders of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
