Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

    In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 August, 2024 at 10:50 AM, security personnel received a report stating that two men with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Seikphyu Township Public Hospital in Magway Reigon. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Ye Naing Win (32 years old) and U Thar Myint (65 years old) both residents of Lat Sel Village in Seikphyu Township. One of the victims had accidently stepped on an explosive device planted by a terrorist group, causing to explode while they were farming near the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 11:00 AM, security personnel received a report stating that there was an explosion in Seik Phu Gyi Village, Ayardaw Township, Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Ah Shin Pyin Nyar Wun Tha (13 years old) and Ah Shin Nan Da Wun Tha (10 years old) both novices at the Dana Main Dar Yar Ma Taw Ya Monastery along with Daw Htay (76 years old) all from Tha Lal Bar Village in Ayardaw Township, were travelling from Tha Lal Bar Village to Seik Phyu Gyi Village. When they arrived near Seik Phyu Gyi Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the roadside. As a result, Daw Htay died on the spot, while the two novices sustained injuries from the shrapnel. They are currently receiving medical treatment at a clinic in Tha Lal Bar Village, it is reported.
    Likewise, at 5:05 PM, security personnel received a report stating that a man with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Hlaing Tun (32 years old) a resident of Myin Ni Village in Natogyi Township. The victim accidently stepped on an explosive device planted by a terrorist group, which caused it to explode, while he was farming on a peanut field west of the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
