Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 August, 2024 at 9:10 AM, security personnel received a report stating that two men with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Kyaw Moe Naing (32 years old) and U Aung Min Naing (49 years old) both residents of Pauk Kone Village in Kyauktaga Township. The victims had accidently triggered an explosive device near Nan Za Village, planted by a group of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists. The device exploded while they were heading to Nan Za Village on a motorcycle, resulting them in injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
