Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

    In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 September, 2024 at 5:35 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Aung Chan Thar Ward, Ye-U Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted inside the municipal waste tank near staff housing within the ward by a so-called PDF terrorist group. As a result, U Kyaw Thu (44 years old) a resident of Aung Chan Thar Ward and Mg Nyi Nyi Thant Zin (12 years old), boy from Bo Aung Zay Ya Ward, who were passing nearby at the time, sustained shrapnel wounds. They were transported to Ye-U Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
