In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 October, 2024 at 2:40 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Kathar District Public Hospital in Kathar Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Shwe Thit (67 years old), a resident of Aung Pon Village in Kathar Township. She had accidentally stepped on an explosive device planted by a group of KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists while picking vegetables at the edge of a forest near the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 7:00 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Pwintphyu Township Hospital in Pwintphyu Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Htay Win (45 years old), a resident of Mal Za Li Village in Pwintphyu Township. She had accidently stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group while gathering bamboo shoots in a forest near the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
