In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 October, 2024 at 2:20 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Pwintphyu Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Mone Tin (47 years old), a resident of Htan Taw Village in Pwintphyu Township. She had accidentally stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group while gathering bamboo shoots in a forest near the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 6:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Phyu Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Mg Chit Oo Maung (17 years old), a resident of Kayin Ywar Gyi Village in Taungoo Township. He had accidently stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group while picking vegetables at a vegetable farm near Phyu Creek, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
