Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 January at 6:10 PM, a report stated that a male with mine shrapnel injuries arrived at the Township Public Hospital in Mogaung Town, Kachin State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Nay Min Tun (aka) Ar-nyi (38 years old), who lives in Pyunthonelone Village of Mogaung Township, suffered injuries to his abdomen, right hand and left/right legs from mine shrapnel. The incident was verified that on the same day around 4:00 PM, while he was en route to Kanyinmyaing Village, he stepped on a landmine planted by terrorists, exploded. As a result, Nay Min Tun (aka) Ar-nyi sustained the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
