In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices, and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 31 January at 9:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in front of KBZ Bank (1), located on the Shwebo-Myintkyinar roadside in No. (6) Ward of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that two so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation), were riding a motorcycle along the Shwebo-Myintkyinar road, threw an improvised bomb at the bank before fleeing. As a result of the explosion, Ma Chit Min Thu (35 years old) who lives in No. (5) Ward and Ma Swe Mon Aung (30 years old) who lives in No. (9) Ward and were passing by on the road at that time, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel. They were transported to Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
