Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel


     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 February at 7:00 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Thahtaykone Village of Htantapin Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Myo Min Thu (26 years old), who lives in Wartee Village of Oaktwin Township, was leaving home on his motorcycle to selling goods in Thahtaykone Village. As he arrived at the Village Commuter Bridge, near Thahtaykone Village, a landmine planted by a collaborative group consisting of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. As a result, Ko Myo Min Thu sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to Taungoo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 9:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Pwalsarkone Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Thura Tun (46 years old), who lives in Yankintharyar Ward of Patheingyi Township, was driving a Toyota AD Van (Licence Plate No. MDY-15 GG/XXXX) from Mandalay City to Mogok Town. As he was travelling between mileposts 33/6 and 33/7 on the Mandalay-Mogok Road near Pwalsarkone Village, an improvised mine planted by a terrorists (under investigation), exploded. As a result, Ko Thura Tun sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 8:30 PM, a mine planted by a collaborative group consisting of KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists exploded between the garage and the brick fence located north of the District Education Commissioner’s Office in Padamyar Ward, Kathar Township, Sagaing Region. As a result, approximately one foot of the brick fence was damaged, along with three galvanized sheets upholding the garage and two window panes, it is reported.
Similarly, on 7 February at 6:05 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Hlyatsitkone Ward of Kathar Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an improvised mine, planted by a collaborative group consisting of KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded approximately five feet away from the District/ Township Electric Office compound fence in the Ward. As a result, U Tun Tun Kyaw (52 years old) who was passing by at the time, sustained injuries from mine shrapnel and was transported to Kathar District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
