Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 February at 7:35 AM, a report stated that a woman with injuries from mine shrapnel arrived at Tawkyawlinn Circuit Hospital in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ma Ei Sandar Htway (24 years old), who lives in Aungmyinkone Village of Kyauktaga Township, had sustained injuries to her legs from mine shrapnel. The incident was verified that earlier that day, around 6:20 AM, she was traveling to Phayarkone Village, when she arrived near Phayarkone Village, she stepped on a landmine planted by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded, resulting in the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 2:20 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near the Traffic Police Booth located beneath the Myaynigone Overpass Bridge, at the intersection of Pyay Road and Bagaya Road in Myaynigone (south) Ward, Sanchaung Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device at the specified location. Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage to people or property, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 9:20 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred on the roadside, approximately 10 feet away from the Rakhineyoelay Village Administrator’s Office in Htantapin Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device at the specified location. Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage to people or property, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
