Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 February at 6:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion had occurred near No. (2) Basic Education High School, located in No. (12) Ward of Hlaingtharyar (Western) Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device went off near the transformer situated in front of the school. As a result, a young novice named Ashin Arsarra, aged 11 years and living as a monk for one year at in Bogalaytheitpan Monastery in No. (11) Ward, sustained injuries from debris and was transported to Hlaingtharyar (Eastern) Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
