Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 February at 10:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred on the Ywarthitgyi-Kazwal Village Commutable Road, located approximately one mile west of Ywarthitgyi Village, Seikphyu Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Khin Mar Htay (53 years old) who lives in Ywarthitgyi Village, was on her way to her onion field in Yaepoat Village when she encountered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group. The device exploded, resulting in Daw Khin Mar Htay sustaining shrapnel injuries. She was transported to Seikphyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 12:00 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Yaekan Village of Homalin Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Mi Sein (68 years old) who lives in the village, was on her way to the edge of a forest to gather Eugenia leaves when an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, Daw Mi Sein sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Homalin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
