In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices, and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 February at 2:00 PM, Ko Nyein Thant (21 years old), and Ma Zin Thit Oo (28 years old), who both live in Thityarmying Ward of Kyunhla Township, Sagaing Region, were walking to a pigeon pea field located near Boyar Dam in Kanbalu Township. When they arrived on the bullock cart road along the dam, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorists, exploded on the left side of the road. As a result, they sustained injuries from shrapnel and were transported to Kyunhla Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
