In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 March at 1:15 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Kyarinnsusee(1)Village of Mokaung Township, Kachin State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ma Nan San Bauk Mie (16 years old) and her grandmother, Daw Htu, who both live in Nauntkietaw Ward in Mokaung Township, were cutting firewood in a forest near the village, when Ma Nan San Bauk Mie stepped on an explosive device planted a terrorists, which then exploded. As a result, Ma Nan San Bauk Mie was injured by shrapnel. She was transported to Mokaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
