Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices, and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 March at 8:20 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred between Teekone Village and Pauktapin Village in Thabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Kyaw Htay (52 years old), who lives in Kyarnyat Village, was returning in an ambulance from Mandalay Public Hospital after transporting a patient along the Mandalay-Bhamo Road. Between mileposts 22/5 and 22/6, an explosive device, a so-called PDF terrorist group, attacked the vehicle. The attack resulted in the breaking of the ambulane’s front and rear glass, although no injuries were reported, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 9:35 AM, a report stated that a woman, injured by shrapnel, arrived at Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that earlier that day, at 9:20 AM, Daw Sandar Myint (45 years old), who lives in Mondar Village, was on her way to a pea field owned by U Myint Win in Taungkhin Village to pick peas. She stepped on an explosive device, planted by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists. The explosion within the pea field resulted in the injuries mentioned, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 10:00 AM, a report stated that a man, injured by mine shrapnel, arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Haymarzala Ward in Chanayetharzan Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that on 8 March at 6:30 AM, U Maung Yu (60 years old), who lives in Mutharkone Village in Ye-U Township, was riding his motorcycle alone to a field west of the village. His motorcycle triggered an explosive device, planted by so-called PDF terrorists, on the roadside near the field, causing the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
