In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 March at 5:00 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred Kyaunkan Village, Myaing Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Tin Maung Aye (56 years old) and his wife, Daw San Win (57 years old), who both live in No.(1) Ward in Myaing Township, were en route on a motorcycle to Kyaunkan Village to sell goods. Upon their arrival, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, Daw San Win died from shrapnel injuries, while U Tin Maung Aye was injured. Both the deceased and the injured were transported to Myaing Township Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, on 11 March at 7:15 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Zahar Village in Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Hnin Mu (60 years old), who lives in the village, was collecting vegetables near an orchard to the west of the village when an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, Daw Hnin Mu sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
