In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 March at 10:45 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in the South Ward of MuSe Township, Northern Shan State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that two male terrorists, who were riding a motorcycle, entered the yard of U Sai Nghot (62 years old), who lives in the ward, and threw a grenade before fleeing. The grenade exploded near a Honda Fit vehicle (License Plate SHN-27 2F/XXXX) parked inside the yard. As a result, the front wheel of the vehicle and the iron door in front of the house were damaged by shrapnel. No injuries were reported, it is reported.
Similarly, on 13 March at 1:15 PM, a report stated that a man with mine shrapnel injuries arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that on 12 March at 10:00 AM, U Nyo Khin (63 years old), who lives in Chipa Village, Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, was heading on his motorcycle to a field located west of the village. As he approached the field, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the roadside. As a result, U Nyo Khin sustained injuries from shrapnel, it is reported.
Similarly, on 13 March at 6:30 PM, a report stated that a man with mine shrapnel injuries arrived at the Township Public Hospital in Lashio Township, Northern Shan State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that earlier that day, at 12:00 PM, Mg Eaik Tun (12 years old), who lives in Nantpaung Village, Lashio Township, was heading to an upland field near the village to work. As he approached the upland field, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the roadside. As a result, Mg Eaik Tun sustained injuries from shrapnel, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
