Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 March at 8:15 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred between Taown Village and Ohmpauk Village in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a vehicle from the “Kachin Minthar” transportation line, driven by U Myo Min Htway, was travelling from Mandalay City to Myitkyinar Township along the Mandalay-Shwebo -Myitkyinar Road. As the vehicle approached the incident site, an explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, exploded on the right side of the road. As a result, among the passengers, a woman (currently under investigation) and Ma Thal Mar Mar Kyaw (36 years old), who lived in Rumpu Ward in Myitkyinar Town, died from shrapnel injuries. Additionally, Ko Thet Tun Lin (40 years old) and Ma Eaik Mhu Khin (16 years old) who both live in Myitkyinar Town, sustained injuries from shrapnel. The deceased and injured individuals were transported to Shwebo Township Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
