Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 March at 8:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Myauk Ward, Myaung Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko San Htike Aung (27 years old), who lives in Myothit Ward, Myaung Township, was leaving his home to go shopping. As he neared the Bogyoke Statue located in Myauk Ward, two remote explosive devices, planted by a so-called PDF terrorists, exploded at the roadside. As a result, Ko San Htike Aung died from shrapnel, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 3:00 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Chaung-U Basic Education High School in Khinmon Village, Chaung-U Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorists, had exploded inside garbage located approximately 50 yards in front of the school. As a result, U Kyaw Htet Aung (33 years old), U Aung Tun (43 years old), Mg Naing Tin Tun (17 years old), and U Min Min (55 years old), who were all working at the tomato wholesale located near the incident at the time, sustained injuries from shrapnel. They were transported to Chaung-U Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
