In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 March at 5:45 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in No. (11) Ward, Yankin Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device, planted the so-called PDF terrorists, exploded in front of a shop selling phone spare parts. As a result, the shop’s signboard decorative lights were damaged, and the base of the iron burglar proof door was broken. Additionally, the front windshield mirror of a ZONE HIACE vehicle (License Plate No. (YGN-20 8H-XXXX), parked in front of the shop, was shattered by the explosion. There were no injuries to people, it is reported.
Similarly, at 8:30 AM, Ko Win Moe Kyaw (23 years old), who lives in Natgyisin Village, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, was returning home on his motorcycle from a field located approximately one mile east of the village. When he arrived at the entrance of the village, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorists, exploded at the roadside. As a result, Ko Win Moe Kyaw sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:00 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred within the compound of No. (2) Basic Education Primary School in No. (2) Ward, Myaing Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device, planted by the so-called PDF terrorists, exploded near the electric motor-operated drilled water well. As a result, approximately 25 feet of the PVC pipe, roughly eight feet of iron pipe, approximately 300 feet of the main electrical service rope, and a main electrical board were damaged. There were no injuries to people, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:05 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in No. (7) Ward, Hlaingtharyar (Eastern) Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device, planted by the so-called PDF terrorists, exploded beneath a tree near car parking lot located between the Seinpanmyaing Road and Yangon-Nyaungdon Road in the ward. As a result, the bumper of a FORLAND vehicle (License Plate No. YGN 8K-XXXX), parked nearby, was damaged. There were no injuries to people, it is reported.
Similarly, on 26 March at 7:00 AM, U Zaw Lin Aung (23 years old), a part-time employee of the Township Electric Office in No. (1) Ward, Myaing Township, Magway Region, was engaged in switching off roadside lights within Myaing Town. When he reached the beltway of the town in No. (2) Ward, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. As a result, U Zaw Lin Aung sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Myaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
