In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 March at 7:05 PM, two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle near the Phakant Township General Administrative Department Office in Mawwun Ward, Pharkant Township, Kachin State, and threw an explosive device. The device exploded between the General Administrative Department Office and the Land Records Department Office. As a result, Daw Htay Khine (47 years old), who was walking near the incident at the time, sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Phakant Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
