Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 April at 9:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Zahar Village, Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region. Security personnel conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Han Myo Naung (35 years old), who lives in the village, was returning home on his motorcycle from his orchard along a jungle path. As he neared the village, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, U Han Myo Naung sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Dawei District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 10:35 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Shwenantthar Village Administrator’s office in Mingalardon Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a so-called PDF terrorist group, in a black vehicle, arrived near a disused security outpost adjacent to the office and hurled two improvised bombs before fleeing the scene. As a result of the explosions, the stone slabs surrounding the outpost and the galvanized roof sustained damage, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 4 April at 8:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near the Ward Administrator’s office in Myoma (3) Ward, Mudon Township, Mon State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device, planted near the office fence by a so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. As a result of the explosion, approximately one foot of the brick fence surrounding the office, the office’s ceiling, and five window panes were damaged, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
