Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 April at 9:05 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in front of the Oxygen Manufacturing Plant in Aungchanthar Ward, Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Win Myint (58 years old) and Daw Kyi Sein (47 years old), who both live in Chone Village, Ye-U Township, were travelling by motorcycle from Chone Village to Ye-U Town along the Depayin-Ye-U Road for shopping. Upon their arrival in front of the oxygen industry, an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded on the left side of the road. As a result, Daw Kyi Sein sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to the Ye-U Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 3:30 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Aungtheindi Village, Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Kyaw Moe Naing (56 years old), who lives in Thanmani Ward, Palnwekone Town, Kyauktaga Township, was riding his motorcycle to his field along a bullock cart way. Upon nearing a field located approximately one furlong west of the village, an explosive device, planted by a group of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. As a result, U Kyaw Moe Naing sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to the Tawkyawlinn Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 7:30 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in No. (17) Ward, Pyinoolwin Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that an explosive device, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded near the fence of Ward Administrator U Tin Maung Swe’s house, who resides in the ward. As a result, approximately four feet of the fence was damaged; fortunately, there were no injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 7:45 PM, U Win Naing (53 years old), who lives in Zawti Village, Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region, was on his way to Ngathine Creek, located approximately two furlongs west of the village for fishing. As he approached the creek, he stepped on an explosive device planted by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, causing it to explode. As a result, U Win Naing sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to the clinic at the No. (60) Infantry Regiment for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 9 April at 9:30 AM, U Than Soe Win Naing (54 years old), who lives in Banbawe Village, Naungkhio Township, Northern Shan State, was en route to the Thazintan forest near the village to cut firewood. His motorcycle triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, causing it to explode. As a result, U Than Soe Win Naing sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to the Pyinoolwin District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
