Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 April, 2024 at 11:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Thirimarlar (East) Ward, Aungmyetharzan Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that two male terrorists on a motorcycle were riding along 87th road. When they arrived in front of the Thirimarlar Ward Administrator’s office, located on 87th Road between 23rd and 24th Streets in Thirimarlar (East) Ward, they threw an explosive device at the office before fleeing. The explosion occurred near a Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle (License Plate No. 3B/XXXX), parked next to the office. As a result, the fuel tank and left rear wheel of the vehicle were damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 2:40 PM, a report stated that an explosion took place in the Chanmyatharzi (South) Ward of Chanmyatharzi Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that four male terrorists on a motorcycle were riding along the junction of Sagaing road. They threw an explosive device at the Chanmyatharzi (South) Ward Administrator's office, located next to Chanmyathida road near junction of Sagaing road within the ward, before fleeing. The explosion occurred near a barrier gate in front of the office. As a result, a Nissan Serena vehicle (License Plate No. 4G/XXXX) and a Honda Click motorcycle parked in front of the office sustained significant damage from the blast. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
